The Grundfos JP 3-42 PM1 is a complete booster pump system designed for garden, domestic and general water supply applications. It combines a self-priming, single-stage centrifugal JP pump with a PM1 pressure manager to provide automatic start and stop according to water demand and consistent water pressure.

The self-priming pump can lift water from below the inlet level and handle a mixture of air and water during priming, with a suction lift of up to 8m. The system also features dry-running and anti-cycling protection to help protect the pump and reduce the risk of damage.

Important Features

The PM1 pressure manager automatically starts the pump when pressure drops below 1.5 bar and keeps the pump running while there is water flow. Dry-running protection automatically stops the pump if no water is detected, while the anti-cycling function stops the pump if a minor leak or partially open tap causes repeated cycling.
