The Grundfos SBA3-45A is an all-in-one automatic submersible booster pump designed for pumping clean water in domestic applications. Built on the proven Grundfos SB platform, the SBA3-45A features an integrated control unit, eliminating the need for an external pump controller.

When submerged, the pump operates virtually silently, making it a quiet alternative to surface-mounted booster pumps. High-quality composite and stainless steel materials provide excellent corrosion resistance and reliable long-term performance.

The SBA3-45A starts automatically when pipe pressure falls below 2.2 bar, helping provide consistent water pressure when required. It is ideal for installation in wells and ground tanks, with the strainer helping prevent solid particles from entering the pump. It can handle particles up to 1 mm in size.

Built-in thermal protection protects the single-phase motor against accidental overload. If the pump overheats, it automatically stops and restarts once it has cooled to a normal operating temperature.

The pump is supplied with a 15-metre power cable and can be installed to a maximum depth of 10 metres below the water level. It is suitable for water sources both above and below ground when installed in a submerged application.
