The Grundfos SQ1 is a compact 3-inch submersible borehole pump designed for pumping clean, non-aggressive and non-explosive liquids that do not contain solid particles or fibres. With an efficient motor and integrated protection systems, the SQ1 is suitable for both continuous and intermittent operation across a range of domestic, agricultural and irrigation applications.

The pump features an integrated soft-start system for smooth and reliable starting, helping reduce mechanical and electrical stress on the pump and installation. Built-in protection provides automatic shutdown in the event of dry running, overvoltage, undervoltage, overheating or overload.

The SQ1 is constructed from stainless steel for excellent corrosion resistance and durability. Its compact 3-inch design allows installation in boreholes with a minimum diameter of 76 mm and to depths of up to 150 metres.

For an automatic water supply system, an SQ Pressure Kit can be added. The kit includes a bore cap, pressure tank, pressure gauge and fittings.
