The Grundfos SQ2-55 N is a compact 3-inch submersible borehole pump designed for pumping clean, non-aggressive and non-explosive liquids that do not contain solid particles or fibres. The SQ2 is suitable for both continuous and intermittent operation across a range of domestic, agricultural and irrigation applications.

With a high-efficiency motor and integrated protection systems, the SQ2 provides reliable and efficient pumping while protecting the pump from common operating conditions. Built-in protection includes dry-run, overvoltage, undervoltage, over-temperature and overload protection.

The integrated soft-start system provides smooth starting, helping reduce electrical and mechanical stress on the pump. Constructed entirely from stainless steel, the SQ2 offers excellent corrosion resistance and durability.

Its compact 3-inch design allows installation in boreholes with a minimum diameter of 76 mm, with a maximum installation depth of 150 metres.

For an automatic water supply system, an SQ Pressure Kit can be added. The kit includes a bore cap, pressure tank, pressure gauge and fittings.
